Marketing Communications Manager
Description:Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a broad range of corporate marketing and lead generation activities. As part of a small sales and marketing team, he/she will be and an important contributor in creating and executing marketing programs that establish Inmagic as a thought and market leader in the special library market, build awareness and demand to support our current business and help us move into new social media markets.
As our company grows and depending on the skills and interests of the individual we hire, we envision adding staff in marketing. This person will have a “ground floor” opportunity to either build an organization under them or remain as an individual contributor
Specific Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage online and offline customer acquisition campaigns, including:
o viral marketing, e-marketing and direct mail campaigns
o product webinars
o coordination of trade shows, seminars and events
· Write and maintain sales collateral and tools, web site copy and bi-monthly e-newsletter. Work closely with internal staff and designers in the production of all marketing materials and sales tools
· Track, review and analyze results of marketing programs.
· Support public relations activities including writing of press releases and focused press outreach and communications.
Candidate Profile:
BS/BA degree, MBA a plus
5-8 years business-to-business marketing communications experience with an emphasis on marketing programs and communications in end-user application software or information services
Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with sales teams and outside influencers and press
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong organization, program management, and problem solving skills
